Faith Through Recitation
The Quran is the Word of Allah
One of the noblest acts through which a Muslim draws closer to Allah is striving to learn the recitation of the Holy Quran, for it has a profound impact on strengthening faith in the hearts of believers.
Today, translations and commentaries (Tafsir) of the Quran are available in many of the world's languages. However, Tafsir is not the Quran itself. Every commentary is influenced by the commentator's environment, culture, and historical period.
The Holy Quran, on the other hand, is the literal Word of Allah — preserved unchanged from revelation until today. It is a source of healing for the hearts, and this unique effect cannot be attained merely through reading a commentary.
Rather, it is realized through the direct relationship between the Creator and His servant at the moment of reciting the Quran.
